Lo StudioThis historic two-story house is located on the main pedestrian "decumanus" of Civita, at the entry to the NIAUSI facilities. The house is built of golden tuffa stone, the characteristic building material of this region, with gray pepperino lintels, a hand-hewn chestnut roof structure, traditional stucco interior wall surfaces, tile floors and clay tile roof – the time-tested architectural palette of Civita and the surrounding hilltowns. This house has a queen sized bed in the upstairs bedroom, along with a folding twin bed downstairs. The kitchen, living room (with fireplace) and bathroom are on the ground level. There is a small terrace with a vine-covered arbor overlooking the pedestrian street and beautiful views of adjacent buildings and the distant landscape from the second level. To accommodate larger groups, Lo Studio can be joined with Il Nuovo, through a connecting door at the second level.
